Local Motion NZ: Home Break Event

A New Zealand ocean community non-profit organisation reached out to me to design an event poster for their final New Zealand event. I was tasked with producing a poster that emulated the unexpected sentimentality of the surf community, and mirrored the feeling of shared moments surrounding the ocean and the friends we make along its shorelines. The Home break event gathered together and celebrated this ocean-obsessed community through sharing photos, stories and conversations. Ocean-lovers gathered and revealed the significance behind their captured moments, whether that's elaborating on their photographed surfcraft, a sentimental collection of wax crumbs, or their favourite wetsuit (holes and all).
